David Foreman, M.D., Ph.D. founder
David Foreman is the founder and managing director of Bio Aspects Inc. Doctor David Foreman has full-cycle investing experience, successfully sourcing, syndicating, managing and exiting investments. He graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University. He received his M.B.A. from Columbia School of Business. Dr. Foreman holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.S. in Biological Sciences.
Francis Newman co-founder
Francis Newman, is the co-founder and the senior partner of Bio Aspects Inc. Dr. Newman has a background as a biotech entrepreneur, biotech intellectual property rights expert and business development executive, combined with a scientific career. He has been actively involved in biotech investment since the late 1990`s. Dr. Newman holds an MSc in chemical engineering, a PhD in molecular biology biochemistry and an MBA.
Vera Schormann, Scientific advisor
Ms. Schormann has a strong background in chemical research and analysis, and a superb track record of successful project leadership. She received her M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Greenwich, and her B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Guelph.
Howard Sumner, Investment expert
Howard Sumner has been the investment expert of Bio Aspects Inc. since the company formation in 2005.
Howard has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. He has in-depth experience investing in healthcare industry throughout his career.
Mr. Howard holds a BA and a MBA from Cornell University.
