MAKE MONEY ONLINE – A GENERAL VIEW

Friday, 26 February, 2010 at 23:24 GMT

Those who are new to investing usually start with the question: "How to make money online?" They are interested in HYIP, GPT, MLM and affiliate marketing in the first place because they want to start making money online. Read a brief guide from HYIPNews.com about different ways of online money making here.

First of all, we should categorize all the ways of making money online into ‘paid’ ones and ‘free’ ones. Of course, this categorization is not official but it is nonetheless quite clear. There are those ways of making money for which you have to pay. On the other hand, there are those options for which you do not have to pay. By saying "pay" we obviously mean investing money. Therefore, the ‘paid’ ways of making money online are those which require an investment. In the second case, you are only required to invest your time, energy, experience, etc. This is to say, investments which are not considered capital investments at all. This is ‘free’ earning online.

The main difference between these two ways of making money online is that you earn a lot larger profit if you choose the ‘paid’ method. As for investing your skills and time, you usually earn a lot smaller profit. Why? Because money makes money. But you have to convert your invested energy into a value and then sell it. Even more so since almost all online earning opportunities have very low requirements regarding experience and skills. It is usually not even required that you be a professional at all. It seems quite attractive and convenient but, on the other hand, it is extremely unprofitable.

For example, if you invest $100 in a high yield investment program, you can earn around 20% a month (real profit) which means $20. And you can earn it by spending no more than 10 minutes in choosing the program (with the help of HYIPNews.com of course). If you want to earn money online with the help of free tools, you can choose one of the Get Paid To (GPT) programs; for example, get paid to read emails. In a best case scenario, you will earn $.10 – yes, 10 cents – for one email. In general, the actual rates are much lower, averaging around 1 or 2 cents. This means you will have to read from 200 to 1000 emails (yes, from two hundred up to a thousand emails, you are not mistaken!) to make that $20. That is more than 6 emails a day and it is more than 10 minutes a day. Here we are only talking about one day, but there are still 30 more to work. So you can do the math.

However, everything is worth something in this world. As well, you cannot easily earn that $20 at HYIP. If it were that simple, why would people use banks where they take 10% interest per year if they could earn 20% a month? This is because an investment in a bank is very safe (at least they were till now). But high yield investments – it is true – are very risky. Taking a risk is the trade off for earning a profit. It is a risk to lose $100 in chasing that $20. Unfortunately, it happens quite often so keep this in mind.

There is an alternative to investing both your skills and money. There are fewer risks in this case and the profit is larger than in those options where you use only your skills. These are MLM and affiliate marketing. You need some knowledge to earn with their help. As an investment, you create a blog or site. You will most likely need some money to organize a work process with your group. Of course, it is only if you really want to make money and not just waste time.

Obviously, we have not named all the possible ways of making money online. We have not mentioned freelancing, advertising, and other strictly specialized industries. However, we are sure that, on the internet as well as in the real world, nothing surpasses these two ways of earning money. There is no way of making money without risk and the necessary investment. In any case, you have to invest either your money, skills, or experience. This is because everything is worth something.

Thank you for this great article. I think that online investing may become a much more popular phenomenon for people looking to make money online as soon as the economy gets a small boost. Right now, most Americans do not have the discretionary funds to invest and they will most likely only invest their time and effort into online endeavors. Thanks again.

Nice article. Such a write-up also continues to identify HYIPNEWS as an online magazine which although it has the prime function of conveying content concerning HYIPs, is also interested in it's members enough to inform them of other opportunities.

Certainly HYIPs are incredibly high risk and investors would do well to keep good records of money invested versus money lost, because this can rapidly give a good view of the reality of profits realised. It's no good chasing a high return if every other HYIP you invest in does a runner, because that simply halves your profit. So a spread of risk is sensible.

I think GPT programmes are ALMOST a certain guarantee of income and your mention of low returns is very valid. However, as a means of grabbing some money when ' there's nothing else to do ' it could provide a gradual build up of an investment pot. But beware, there are scams in the world of GPT [ Get Paid To ].

Managed forex accounts can provide a higher than normal return on investment as well as providing the security of a Limited Power of Attorney [LPOA], which means the company placing investments on your behalf does not have access to your money at all, in that they can only withdraw from your account a previously agreed percentage and ONLY from actual profit made. So the incentive is on that company to actually make real profit, because if they don't, then they get NOTHING. Your account is not even held by them, but is held by a broker which YOU have joined and who will only act on YOUR authority. You can withdraw your profits from your broker held account any time you wish, just like a normal bank account. The money you have in your account is invested by the company acting on your behalf via the broker, but unlike HYIP held accounts in which the HYIP holds and 'looks after ' all your money, all profits made are returned to YOUR account [ which is, as I say, held in your name at the broker]. The agreed percentage withdrawal is only taken at the end of each trading month and acts much like a 'standing order ' in a normal bank account, only it is expressed in percentage terms rather than an actual sum. Of course, the market can go down as well as up, so you need to have a verified trading history of the company you choose to place trades on your behalf, to satisfy yourself that they have the necessary experience and length of time in the industry to be able to have strategies in place to ensure that there are more 'up ' months than 'down' months.

Sports Arbitage is another method of online investment, which briefly put almost certainly guarantees a locked in investment. Basically either privately yourself or with the help of monitoring services, you are placing opposing bets with different betting agencies which offer a marginal but important difference in the win or lose spread of the bet. So it does not matter whether the team you have backed wins or loses, you have ensured that your profit outweighs your investment and the loss incurred on the opposite result. All very complicated and too much to go into here. Suffice to say, that if you know what you are doing you CAN make money. Your profit is predetermined and known by yourself because you already know the odds when you place the bet. The amount of your profit is determined by the size of your investment. But there are scams to look out for [ although less than in the world of HYIPs], and you have to be canny in choosing which betting agencies you select because it is better to come in 'under the radar' since many agencies don't like arbitragers [why not is a puzzle, since the betting agencies make money on bets placed, it costs them nothing really and is all perfectly legitimate]. There is a LOT of detail and reading required before following this method of online investing but for those interested enough, it is definitely worth a look to see if it suits you...

Anyway, I hope my comments add to the store of knowledge being built up within HYIPNEWS forum.

Please give us more details on managed forex accounts. It would be a great service to have a list of managers and their resume and a track record of their past successes . A weekly list like the hyip list ratings could inspire investors to seek out this type of investment. Hyipnews could be expanded to cover this investment form and increase the interest and readership in the site.
Most hyip investors are looking for an honest approach to risk taking. With this investment, you have control of your money and the unknown is the quality and success of the money manager. If he makes you a profit, he gets a profit. If he does not, he does not make a dime.............
And the big plus is.............you control your own account. You don t have to hear......oh,you lost your money because of
hackers, scam, ponzie, it got lost some how and on and on...........
No troubles with Liberty reserve, alterpay pay pal etc etc You don`t need them............
So let`s expand this managed forex situation for all hyip type investors

Hi moneygeneral. I've written a bit before about managed forex accounts in previous postings and whilst I could add in considerable detail further info beyond that written by me above, I'm not sure whether such accounts are within the remit of investors and forums more usually dedicated to HYIPs. I don't disagree entirely with your suggestion and I think opening the forum up to other forms of online investment for us all to see as a general overview or introduction is a very good thing. I would still like to see a response from other readers if they have other forms of investment that they could at least make us all aware of.......but I wonder whether it is then best left to individual investors to make their own plans/investigations/due diligence..?

For instance, I drew peoples attention to sports arbitrage. Fine in itself but if anyone wanted to invest in it then approaching the appropriate bodies involved for more direct and specific information etc is probably the best way forward.

.... - and perhaps the same could be said for managed forex accounts. Such accounts could be considered to be too far out of the concept and remit of HYIPNEWS, ie diversify too much and we could suffer a watered down version of information presented to us, rather than a focussed one that concentrates on HYIPs....

For instance, you will have noticed that HYIPNEWS has a section on GPT, but in fact it is only really an introduction and fairly brief overview. If an investor wished to look into such schemes then they would be well advised to dive into the world of GPT themselves wherein they will learn far more...

One thing that might put off a lot of investors who inhabit the world of HYIPs, is the fact that brokers operating your account with an LPOA agreement in place for another body to make investment decisions for you generally require a minimum deposit of $10,000 held in the account..... and we are now in the real world of forex investing, which can go down as well as up. Most HYIP investors I see subscribing to this forum are not into investing this amount of money. Plus one needs to do ones own due diligence on the track record and impartial reports made on the actual trading history of whichever company one chooses to act via an LPOA on your behalf.

So in conclusion, I would love to see HYIPNEWS acting as a means of identifying other investment opportunities but I am not sure that it would necessarily be the best place to spread itself too thinly covering too wide a market of investment opportunities. Could become a case of 'Jack of all trades and master of none' .

Very thoughtful articale on investing and the role of Hyipnews. Hyipnews readers I believe, want to know the best opportunity for their investment dollars and an honest investigation of what programs and investments are available to them. As for myself, my eyes glaze over with the same type of reviews of the new hyips that arrive on the scene. It is the same old same old story of the site saying take my word for it, invest and my plan will create profit for you.{investor}
With 20 or so of these types of investments going scam every week, the real investor will not believe a word of the hype from the hyips.
The real investor is seeking real prove able information on the best opportunity for investment from a investment monitor. I believe your organization has the ability and the readership to make that happen. All investment decisions revolve around risk vs reward .Investor has no control of his investment in a hyip
forex managed accounts have a controlled risk but investor has complete control of his own money. Some management companies permit a pool investment of a beginning $300.00 account. Others have minimums of $5,000.00
It could be worth a 90 day trial for a new section of hyipnews. You may obtain many more readers

Thank you for your kind opening Bob. It also seems I share a similar view of investing and risk as yourself.
Re whether HYIPNEWS may do a trial article on managed forex accounts we shall have to wait and see......

There are tons of ways to make money online, if you know where to look. This is a great starter guide. At the rate the economy is going, it looks like most English majors will soon have a job writing online or no job at all.
