NONBUSINESS DAYS IN MAY

Thursday, 5 May, 2011 at 12:16 GMT

Two programs from our HYIP-list have posted absolutely identical holiday schedules for May on their websites. They are LionFunds (lionfunds.net) and EurexTrade (eurextrade.com). According to the lists, there will be six (!) days in May when investors won't receive their interest. Considering that both programs pay on business days only, this is simply unfair to their investors as they will receive only 16 payments out of 22. And another ridiculous thing is that they included all possible holidays around the world and announced them non-business days. I'm sure that if you look at the list, you will be amused too. Here is the list of holidays at LionFunds:

Constitution Day 03 May 2011 Japan
May Bank Holiday 04 May 2011 United Kingdom
Children’s Day 05 May 2011 Japan
Victoria Day 18 May 2011 Canada
Ascension Day 21 May 2011 Switzerland
Memorial Day 25 May 2011 USA

And here is one at EurexTrade:

05/03/2011 Constitution Day (Japan)
05/04/2011 May Bank Holiday (United Kingdom)
05/05/2011 Children’s Day (Japan)
05/18/2011 Victoria Da (Canada)
05/21/2011 Ascension Day (Switzerland)
05/25/2011 Memorial Day (USA)

If you are an investor in one of these program, then keep this schedule in mind. I suppose there will be more programs soon that announce some of these days non-business, therefore stay tuned :) By the way, deposits and withdrawal requests will be processed as usual.

I'm so fed up with their holidays. Why would I care about the holiday in Switzerland?? And knowing that they are just usual HYIPs it is twice more funny.

To quote Queen Victoria : '' We are not amused ''.
It is totally ridiculous that HYIPs use obscure public holidays celebrated in odd/various countries around the world as some pathetic reason as to why they won't be paying out to investors their due interest on investments. If one calculates the daily interest offered by various HYIPs and then takes into account that it is only paid on businesss days and then also considers the public hoilday non-paying days nonsense described above, suddenly what initially looked like an attractive return could, in real terms, turn out to be a net figure perhaps only half of what would originally be expected.

Foreign Exchange traders trade globally and individual countries odd little holldays have no effect on the trading volumes of the global FX market. Traders will tend not to trade when trading volumes are low ie Christmas and some other globally recognised holidays, when most traders will take time off.

When a HYIP does put forward their ' inability to offer payouts/interest ,' quoting such obscure holidays as a reason, then it does indicate that you are in the presence of a HYIP that is obviously not a genuine forex trader, otherwise they would know different and have no difficulty in continuing trading, - ie ' business would be as usual ' .

i have forex investments outside of HYIPs and if I do not experience a trading problem on some of the days that HYIPs mention, then how come they do ? Or might it have something to do with the less a HYIP pays out, the more they get to keep for themselves...?

What next ? The second Tuesday of the month in outer Mongolia is a holiday if there's a blue moon and an 'R' in the month, therefore we won't be paying out to investors ?
