OilStructure (oilstructure.com) has become probably the most favorite HYIP of swindlers. This program is very popular and therefore has many investors who are confident in its quality and swindlers use this to steal money. We have already written about phishing emails which were sent out on behalf of the administration of OilStructure. You can read about it here: OilStructure Phishing Emails. Those emails were not very sophisticated and it was obvious that they were phishing.

However, this time swindlers are much more creative. They did not make any special offers in the email. The email was sent from “Jane, the Oilstructure head of investment department”. She thanked for the continuously support and said that they highly appreciate that we had chosen Oilstructure. Then she announced great news:

“We have checked your account activity and would like to offer you more better terms for your next investment. Please let us know if you wish to proceed with another deposit and we might be able to offer you so-called deposit bonus.”

We decided to respond to this email in order to see what will happen next and to understand the scheme of this fraud. We responded that we wished to proceed and would like to inform our readers about the bonus. We asked to provide some details. The response was:

“Hello, I would like to know how much you would like to invest this time? I might be able to offer a percentage of bonus depending on your deposit.”

Then we wrote that we want to invest $500. The next question was about desired ecurrency for deposit. We answered and got instructions with the details of account to which we have to send our money. Then we asked about the promised bonus and the answer was:

“Sorry, I didn't mention in earlier. Basically we offer 10% for an $500 investment, which is 50 USD extra. This amount will be credited to your OS account balance and will be available for withdrawal or new investment.”

That's how it's done. We hope that none of our readers believed those fraudsters and did not send any money to their account. This scam email came from [email protected]. On the official website you can see a warning: “Any mail from [email protected], [email protected] etc. are SCAM”. Therefore remember to check the email address in order to confirm that the email is real or not. You can see all real email addresses on “Contact Us” page at Oilstructure.com.
