Some interesting piece of news has been officially posted by Goggle officials. The company has recently enabled the customers to buy software from Google Play using PayPal. From now on, the residents of twelve countries can easily purchase movies, books, games simply entering the PayPal login.

Obviously the upgrade has nothing to do with charity. Not a single business will help the competitors just for nothing. And obviously the Google authorities follow their own goal, one of which is to exceed the results for the last year in selling apps and games - 300%. Google officials hope that PayPal will be in use here.

Google Play product manager Ibrahim Elbouchikhi says the following: "Just enter your PayPal account login and you'll easily be able to make purchases. Our goal is to provide users with a frictionless payment experience, and this new integration is another example of how we work with partners from across the payments industry to deliver this to the user..."

Everything looks so great at first sight. However there are some peculiar things here. First of all the new option only allows to pay for the digital content. One is not eligible to purchase physical goods, at least for now. The programs aimed to attract customers goes on working. "Carrier billing" option (ability to pay by the phone) works in 24 countries, and residents of 13 countries including Germany and Japan are eligible to obtain gift cards from Google.
