I've recently made a really really dumb mistake and fell victim to a work-at-home ebay scam. I found the job ad on craigslist and basically I would help them sell lots/bundle of Polo shirts using my own ebay account. I saw that many other ebay sellers were doing the same thing so I didn't really suspect anything fishy. I was basically the middleman who take payments from customers and then pay that person where in return, they would ship out the clothes. I paid that person through a bank deposit into the account number they gave me. Weeks went by and buyers complained to me that they never received anything and so they filed paypal disputes against me and I was forced to refund everyone with my own money. I tried calling the bank but they said they can't do nothing about it. I am from California and that person is from New York so it makes this more difficult.
