IndiaNIC Infotech Ltd has informed about the negotiations it holds with Yahoo for designing Indian version of Yahoo?s e-commerce website. It will be not the first time collaboration. Previously IndiaNIC Infotech Ltd has designed the similar sites for Yahoo in the US and Canada. The owners of Yahoo explain their choice by the cheap labor in India. ?We are at a very premature stage of discussions with Yahoo to offer our e-commerce services to the portal giant. We are the only company from India with whom they have partnered for designing their online stores on their e-commerce website, ?Ydesigner.com? for the US and Canada market where they are present currently,? said Manoj Onkar, president of IndiaNIC Infotech. The approximate dates of the website launch have not been declared yet.
