As most of you who frequent the forum are by now aware, Angela has decided to step down as admin of Cupid. It was a decision she made, as she stated in her post, because she felt that she did not have the time right now to devote to you guys that she wanted to, and was in the best interest of all involved. I know you all love Ang, and I'm happy to say that she has said she will continue to be involved on the site and in the forum, so she's not going anywhere....her humor, help and caring will still abound on Cupid :)...You better look out, too....cause I imagine you're going to see her name start popping up in contests again, now that she won't be a Cupid slave, lol! Anyway, for now I will be handling everything myself, so please be patient with me ( I think I may have forgotten how to do some things, I was so dependent on her talents :)), and remember that you are the most important part of the site, each one of you, and this is not a BAD change, it's just change.
As far as your team race goes, at this point, we have 14 members signed up, and you will be divided into teams of 7 each. There will be no "positions" assigned, you guys will need to elect a captain if you choose to. I will announce a tentative lineup in the forum later today, and will open to each team their own forum again for strategy and discussion. Of course, if there is anything you would like to change, feel free to post or pm me, and we will get things worked out to your satisfaction. Remember, this will be a fast and heavy race, lasting only from the 8th through the 15th at midnight, so I will be adding and approving offers just as fast as I can get them in and up. Despite the changes in staff, I will do my utmost best to update the contest page a minimum of once per day, and more often if needed. I want this to be as fun for you guys this month as it was last month...keep each other motivated and encouraged, while learning new things about your fellow members at the same time. If this race proves to be another success, we will hold a second one the week of the 23rd. If not, we'll think of something else fun to do! As before, the team that places first will get 25% of their earnings per member, and second place (there are NO losers) will get 10%. In addition, team one will each get 4 raffle tickets to use for the raffle(s) of their choice, and team two will receive 2. Let's make it a fun week!
Falling right into the middle of race week will be the celebration of the six month anniversary of www.cupidcash.info and my official ownership, WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! I am so proud to see us still going strong and growing every day! I am not sure yet of EVERYTHING that will be going on that day (January 11), but as promised, you can expect dedication bonuses, a doubledays, all wins given, and yet another games day (I MUST be insane!). There will be other things in addition, you can count on that!
In fact, not just for our anniversary, but for the upcoming weeks...if you have any new and unique contest/promo you'd like to see, or even any returning "golden oldies", be sure and e mail them in, or post them in the forum. Any suggestion that is used on the site will net you 1.00, so get creative!
Speaking of promos/contests....from 2pm CST today until midnight on the 7th/8th...I will give you 1.00 for every 5.00 earned, or every 10 offers completed...just be sure and email in when you have met the mark. The best news is.....the earning is unlimited, not just once, so get those offers done! There are several trials that I just moved into HOT, as well as those still-on-fire freebies that I mentioned a few days ago, so now is a great time to make that money!
Anyway, just wanted to update you guys on what is going on here, as well as remind you about the team race in case you haven't signed up yet. Don't forget the race to 100.00, and 50 completed is still going on (stats are coming today), as well as the two referral/20.00 amazon card promo, AND the various items being raffled in the forum....so still lots to do here as always!
