BAY VILLAGE ” It sounds like a great deal and it would be if it was true. A bogus Craigslist ad touted a big lakefront home in Bay Village, offering to rent it for $800 a month. The ad claims the owner was transferred to Nigeria by his employer.

The house is owned by a doctor who still lives there and is selling it through Howard Hanna Realty. At least eight people called the agent handling the listing to inquire about the rental advertisement.
