Effective immediately, the SoftLayer ISP will not be allowed at MyPTR. I am blocking IPs with SoftLayer as the host and noting the accounts.
Effective immediately, the SoftLayer ISP will not be allowed at My-PTR. I am blocking IPs with SoftLayer as the host and noting the accounts. Accounts will be suspended for repeated use of SoftLayer or other known proxy servers. Proxy servers have never been allowed at My-PTR...this is just singling out one specific proxy service as it has become an issue of late.
In addition, the use of university ISPs will not be allowed. If you truly are accessing the site from a university, please contact me. The problem is that there are several universities that use open proxies that are being abused by members from not allowed countries.
