I’m sure all of you are already aware of a tragedy happened in Japan. Well, the admins of HYIPs definitely are because they sent out e-mails asking to donate and help people from Japan. For example, the representative of ForexTradingTeam (forextradingteam.net) named John send out the following email:

“As you may know today has occurred the biggest earthquake in Japan for last 100+ years. One acquaintance of mine asked me if I wish to donate something to Japan. I donated and I thought, maybe any of our investors want to make some good too.”

Then he provides AlertPay and LibertyReserve accounts where money should be donated. He assures that those accounts are not his and he doesn’t have access to them and if you want to know the person who is organizing donation, you can contact him personally and ask. He also says that if you want to donate, it’s not necessary to put large sums.

Another newsletter that we have received came from the admin of Inqinvestments.com: “Dear Investors, On behalf of GlobalGiving we request our clients to help Japan to over come the recent disaster caused by the Tsunami and the earthquakes.” Then he provides a link which should be followed if you wish to contribute. Well, the link seems to be genuine and leads to a real website of an organization called GlobalGiving, however I recommend that you do not follow any links.

Helping people in need is respectworthy but if you want to help and donate money, you should do that on actual websites of charitable organizations. And of course never send your money to unknown accounts such as provided in the email sent out by ForexTradingTeam. I’m not saying it is fraudulent but it is definitely not verified and even if you like this project and trust the administration, you should not send your money. Be careful!
