Thanks to the error in PayPal the payment system, the US citizen Chris Reynolds has become the owner of enormous amount: $92,233,720,368,547,800. The amount was somehow credited to his account on paper, which is the e-mail statement. When Chris entered his member area to check the balance, this error has already been fixed and the amount on his account was zero.
Chris is 56 year old and he has never kept more than $1000 on his account before. He was using the payment system for small transactions amounting to no more than £60-£70 a month. At the same time, being a very responsible person, Chris was not offended with removing this enormous amount from his account. At the same time he declared that if he had such amounts of money he would have first paid the national debt of his own country :). he would also not mind against purchasing his favorite basketball team Philadelphia Phillies.
I believe the administration of PayPal should give some official explanation and compensation to the customer. this is actually not the first case when because of some employees' error people have become millionaires. At least Chris needs some money back onto his account. that is for sure. Let's see how the payment system acts on.
