The first certified product from Microsoft as part of the corporate product Azure for blockchain based projects (Blockchain-as-a-Service — BaaS) BlockApps has been officially available for the corporate clients of the tech giant. BlockApps features the platform for the developers powered by the Ethereum distributed ledger protocol.
Microsoft also reports the infrastructural platform for exchanging AlphaPoint assets and the start-up, which allows integrating micro-payment system as part of Internet of Things technology (IOTA) joined the Azure BaaS.
After the launch of the Azure BaaS technology back in October Microsoft routinely adds new technology suppliers to its blockchain product. Herewith Strato from BlockApps has been the first solution, being officially certified.
Marley Gray, Microsoft Director, BizDev & Strategy - Cloud and Enterprise says the following: "IOTA has built-in data transfer layer which allows for easy coupling of data streams and compensation models. IOTA plans on delivering the following to the ecosystem:
Setting up a swarm of IOTA payment channels for IoT devices; one click deploy
Oracling for Smart Contracts
Setting up side-Tangle (similar to sidechain in regular blockchains)."
