PAYPAL AND EBAY AS THE MOST ATTACKED FIRMS IN RUSSIA

The recent survey conducted in Russia by Kaspersky Lab has revealed that total volume of spam in Russia mail traffic has increased by 1.9 per cent

The recent survey conducted in Russia by Kaspersky Lab has revealed that total volume of spam in Russia's mail traffic has increased by 1.9% and now is 82.2%.

1,09% of all the e-mails contained malware, and this figure is 3% more than it was in August. 0,62% of all e-mails contained the links to some phishing websites. According to the results phishers mostly attacked PayPal payment system and its parent organization ? eBay. The percentage of the phishing 36% and 18% attacks respectively.

The users of money services of Russian origin also suffered from the spammers. The most attacked ones were the services of Mail.ru and Rambler, and Yandex.Money.
