After PayPal became an independent company, it constantly improves the services and implements new ones to simplify the relationships between customers in terms of money transferring. So, recently PayPal introduced the new service of P2P transfers, which gives opportunity to the account owners to request for the money from friends, relatives and business cooperatives with the help of personal link. The PayPal.Me will be introduced worldwide. Meanwhile its start has been announced in the first 18 countries.

With the help of PayPal.me one can register the personal link (e.g. paypal.me/username) and send this link to your friends and relatives, so they will know it's your link and using no extra steps they could transfer funds online to you ASAP. To make the money transfer more simple, the customers may add to the personal link the amount they want to receive and so the link will look like paypal.me/username/50. The link is permanent and a unique one for every customer. It can be sent to the recipient in any format suitable, such as SMS, e-mail, text message, message in social network, comment on a blog or on the website.

The new service is a safe way to make money transfers since it doesn't require any personal data transition such as the e-mail address or the banking card number.

At first sight one may think PayPal launches the competitor to Venmo, still the company authorities consider it in a different way. Venmo only works with the accounts registered in US banks, while PayPal.Me is more targeted to wider and more global clients base of the company.

As claimed by the PayPal authorities, PayPal.Me is not meant to replace the current services provided by the company, instead it should give more potential to their development. Over the longer term, PayPal is planned to be integrated with OneTouch service, which automatically remembers resources online, where customers completed transactions with PayPal, which is going to make the process way faster.
