The link is permanent and a unique one for every customer. The new service is a safe way to make money transfers since it doesn't require any personal data transition such as the e-mail address or the banking card number.
At first sight one may think PayPal launches the competitor to Venmo, still the company authorities consider it in a different way. Venmo only works with the accounts registered in US banks, while PayPal.Me is more targeted to wider and more global clients base of the company.
As claimed by the PayPal authorities, PayPal.Me is not meant to replace the current services provided by the company, instead it should give more potential to their development.
