WARNING! There is a phishing mail doing the rounds! If you get any e-mail telling you have received money from an STP user, but need to verify your account with STP first before being able to receive it, then STOP! DO NOT respond to this e-mail. DO NOT click on the link they supply to a fake STP WebPage! We will NEVER ask you to verify your details in this manner! If you respond to this e-mail and fill in the details they require on their fake STP WebPage, then they will have harvested your STP access details!! Should this have happened to you, please contact our support department immediately for help.
This is a warning, which you can find at the site of SolidTrustPay. The news is dated, April 25, but the letter, which we are talking about, we have received just yesterday. Here is the text:
"You have been sent a STP transfer of 1240 USD from the account of STP member "prosperity". However, in accordance to our new Security Policy, valid from today, 25th April 2009, you are required to confirm your identity before you can receive transfer spends of a sum over 1000 USD," than goes the link, which is very usual at the first sight: http://www.solidtrustpay.com/index.php?a=verify
Frankly speaking, I have not found any difference between one site and another, between "real" and "fake". Looks like there is no difference at all, but the link, which is clicked in the letter, in a some way can intercept the transferring data on the site of SolidTrustPay. This is a trap.
We will not check if it works better than before. Let`s trust to the official source and let`s not click on such kind of links.
