Yesterday, on May 12, shortly before the bitcoin price adjusted from $7,500 to around $7,000, an unknown large market participant moved 6015 BTC ($45.2 million at the time of sending).
Almost immediately, perhaps the same "whale", made a transaction for 4000 BTC ($30.1 million). The recipient has recently become the focus of attention Bitfinex exchange.
Shortly thereafter, a transaction at 2983 BTC ($21 million) occurred. The funds have moved from the Bitfinex exchange to an unknown wallet. The last major move took place an hour later - the same "whale" transferred 3723 BTC wallet from the Bitfinex. Thus, allegedly the same major player in just two hours moved a total of almost 17,000 BTC.
Many users of social networks expressed confidence that wealthy Bitcoin holders finally decided to take profits. Some have come to the conclusion that the right time has come to purchase "on the bottoms".
At the same time, if the first cryptocurrency itself has grown by more than 11% during the weekend, the sharp growth of other leading Altcoins can be noticed. So, if we talk about the top ten CoinMarketCap, more than 20% - up to $0.076212 has risen in the price of Cardano (ADA). Bitcoin cash is also showing impressive growth - its price has risen to $343.70. Ethereum (+ 14%) came close to $200, Litecoin (LTC) rose to $91.7 (+ 18.5%). EOS (+ 15%), Binance Coin (+ 10%) and XRP (+ 8.77%) also showed significant growth.
