LibertyReserve payment processor has came up with an announcement that now all new exchanger's applications will be processed by the third party, namely by an official Liberty Reserve S.A. wholesaler - eCardOne. What is it – a new policy of LR allowing a total control over its customers or a new mysterious scheme of the payment system?
According to the payment processor's statement now all new and existing exchangers that want to be listed on the company's website should register first with eCardOne. “Once the application has been completed and processed you will receive detailed instructions on how to become a Liberty Reserve exchanger and requirements and a verification procedure necessary to be listed on Liberty Reserve web site and to be able to purchase and sell your inventory directly with Liberty Reserve S.A.,†explains online payment system.
The company also notes that eCardOne is not associated in any way with Liberty Reserve other than for a purpose of conducting new exchanger's verifications and to process wholesale orders for other exchangers. However it is still incomprehensible why such known payment gateway as LibertyReserve needs the services of unknown automatic exchange service?
Earlier LibertyReserve has announced inauguration of its office in San Jose. According to LR's official blog among parties invited were “CEO's of various banks and companies, government official representatives, press and mediaâ€. The only exchanger visiting Liberty Reserve on that occasion was the same eCardOne (GoldExchange.eu) that “is not associated in any way with Liberty Reserve other than for a purpose of conducting new exchanger's verifications.†The inauguration was to take place on January 28, 2009 however not a single representative of press and media invited to that even have covered it yet. The official blog of LR also keeps silence. Though who knows, may be the office was so huge and the ceremony so solemn that the representatives of press are still under impression.
